Aluminum Mast Insert – Reinforcement Sleeve for Sail Systems

Description

We mount this 5/8″ x .058 wall 6061-T6 aluminum tube onto the tiller extension to form the mast base for our pop-up sailing system. It will sleeve inside the 3/4 x.058 wall aluminum tubing that we use for our masts.

Mast tubing is available from Sailrite so it makes sense to order it when you order your sailcloth and thread. Tiller extension is available at Ductworks Boatbuilding Supply.
